2010-08-29: Ernest GoldThanks for all the information. I am sending many of my ignorant friends ho don't know about the genocide or don't have an opinion to this site. A few posts down I read about this new book Gardens of Grief. Anyone know anything else about it? The author is not Armenian. I googled him. Universal bought one of his recent books for $2.5 million. Maybe this could be a movie.
2010-08-26: MorganFor those of you that are Americans, please sign this petition to try to get congress to reconise this horrible crime! Do it not because you hate the Turks or anything like that, do it because in the end its the right thing to do! http://www.change.org/petitions/view/tell_congress_to_recognize_the_armenian_genocide

2010-08-21: AvagThe film is good. But I as Armenian living in Norway would like to find a film at least in English, which I could show before my friends and other Norwegians or give them to see.
2010-08-12: Terri GuitronAbout six months ago I began reading everything I could about the hotly debated Armenian genocide. I had no perceived notions – I just wanted to find out what was and was not true. Was it a genocide – did it really happen? Then, something interesting happened. I have a friend who is a professional reader - book scout. She sneaks me copies of the best/most entertaining books she gets. She sent me GARDENS OF GRIEF by Boston Teran, that she says will be published next spring. It's about the Armenian Genocide. It's set in Turkey 1915 – fiction but based on historical fact. What a read – a fierce retelling of events in 1915 Turkey seen through the eyes of a young American, an agent for the Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. State Department. I researched the facts laid out in the book – they are true, harrowing, frightening. This is a great book. Will it be controversial? Yes, but it convinced me that history – the facts – support the Armenians' claim: there was an Armenian Genocide. I don't think they'll like the book in Turkey.
2010-08-03: HaybookI created an Armenian website last week about Armenian free electronic resources which contain also digitized material about the Armenian Genocide: http://haybook.wordpress.com/history Please, could you add a link to Haybook on your website. if possible, could you make it known to the Armenian community in your area. thanks
