i am ashamed of being a turk, and could only hope that the armenians would someday forgive us. i condemn our ancestors who carried out the disgusting ethnic cleansing,and the modern turkish republic which still denies the genocide.

Apricot stone..I was so moved by this song.I thought they really meant to say sth. It was much more than sth. It was a cry. almost a hundred years old. Later i discovered there was another civilisation in my country once...I cried a lot, like in the song..I'm so sorry..so sorry..

My grandparents were tormented during the genocide. They were only children when this horrific violent act of torture began on the Armenian people. I can't imagine what they must have seen, or experienced. I have always been extremely proud to be Armenian, because of there strength and pride. I will love them forever.

I\'m German. When I think of the Armenian Genocide in 1915, I have a bunch of many different emotions in my breast. First, I am ashamed and furious with both the German government and army command about their miserable role they played in this tragedy. Their attitude not to offend their ridiculous ally was cynical and inhuman. Second, I feel contempt for the actual Turkish government of Tayyip Erdogan who is stupid enough to deny the historical facts - and scheming enough to destroy the monument of reconciliation at the Armenian border. And seen from this point of view, the actual German government of Chancellor Merkel is not better than the Imperial one when flattering Turkey for strategical reasons. But the most painful emotion is the sight of all those poor children suffering and starving to death... When I have watched the movie \"Aghet\" at your commemoration day, my eyes were filled with tears. What have these innocent Armenian children done to those Turkish creatures that they believed to exert such atrocities against them? Have they rebelled, or spied, or shot? The pictures of emaciated children, sitting on the naked soil, waiting silently to lay down and die - it\'s heartbreaking. Nearly thirty years later, history repeated itself: again the faces of starving, apathetic children in dirty rags - this time in Auschwitz or in the Warsaw ghetto. This time, Germans had been the slayers. They had learned the Turkish lesson well. Its subject was: if you wish to kill an entire people, first of all kill their future, their children. At least, we did admit our wrongdoing, we took responsibility and we have learned another lesson, the lesson of humanity. The world is waiting to see the Turkish government and people to overcome their cowardice and go through the same school.... it\'s still open! God bless the Armenian nation

So I can only say that this is very good site. I could find here many interesting historical articles about armenian genocide. I hope this site to help armenian take tair rights over this crime and make nowdayes Turkey to understand that future development can not be made under such heavy crime. God with us, God with Armenia.
